Frequently asked questions

Do I need to code or know machine learning?

Not for the first four stages: they cover governance, management and compliance, and require no AI development skills. The fifth, CAISP, is the technical stage: a grounding in cybersecurity and a basic understanding of machine learning are recommended.

How does it relate to the AI Act?

ISO/IEC 42001 is the management system standard that best structures the organisational response to the AI Act, and the EU AI Governance Professional stage is devoted entirely to the Regulation: risk-based classification, the obligations of each actor and AI governance across the whole lifecycle.

Is the exam included in the price?

Yes. Each course includes the official PECB material, the exam and the certification, with a free retake for 12 months.
